Small beginnings. Big ambitions.
The DailyCourage story.
Our mission is simple: to eliminate fear as a barrier to human potential.
How we got here
A journey from fear to fearless action
October 16, 2018
“What is your life’s work?”
I still remember the exact moment I saw those words on a placard during my new-employee orientation at Apple. I had just landed my dream job - great pay, incredible teammates, the Apple logo on my badge - but deep down, something didn’t feel right.
I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was meant for something bigger.

2018 – 2020
"Do it scared."
After writing jokes for 10 years but being too afraid to perform them on stage, I finally took the advice from my friend: "Do it scared."
For all my life, I thought courage meant not being afraid. That brave people felt something different than I did. That fear was a stop sign and that it had to go away in order for me to proceed.
I was wrong.
Courage isn't the absence of fear. It's the willingness to act in the face of it.

March 2020 · Tahoe Mountains
“Go all in”
While snowboarding, I passed a simple sign on the slope that read: Go all in. It felt like the universe talking directly to me. That phrase echoed in my head for the next three years.

End of 2023
The big leap. Going all in.
I left Apple, sold my triplex, packed my life into a few suitcases, and moved to Mexico City. I didn’t have a perfect plan—just a fire in my gut telling me it was time to build something that was truly mine.

Early 2024
“Where did you find the courage?”
As soon as friends heard about the move, almost everyone asked me the same question. That’s when it hit me: for the past ten years I’d been collecting every tool, book, coaching session, and hard lesson that helped me move through fear. Maybe I could share what actually worked.

Spring 2024
From a 5 min clip to 5 week course.
I recorded a quick, no-frills video explaining everything I’d learned about “doing it scared” and sent it to a handful of friends. Within a week, a dozen people replied, “I need this in my life.” That became the very first cohort of Courage Camp—a 5-week program to help people stop letting fear make their decisions for them.

Mid 2024
Real people. Real change. Real impact.
People started quitting jobs that were draining their souls, launching businesses they’d dreamed about for years, having the hard conversations they’d avoided, asking for the promotion. Seeing those transformations made one thing crystal clear: helping people unlock their courage was what I was born to do.

Today
DailyCourage was created
DailyCourage exists to remove fear as the barrier between you and your potential. I’m building a global resource—content, courses, apps, and a community—so anyone, anywhere can find the clarity and courage to live more fully.

A light within us all
Just like the sun, we each carry a light inside us; a source of strength, truth, and possibility. Fear is the darkness that tries to dim it. Courage is choosing to let it shine anyway.
Rooted in human history:
Across centuries and cultures, the sun has represented hope, resilience and victory over darkness. Our logo honors that shared legacy and reminds us we’re not alone in the fight. Courage is contagious and DailyCourage and community is a core component of becoming more courageous.
Symbol of daily renewal
Just as the sun rises every day, we have the opportunity to practice courage daily. It reflects our belief that courage isn’t a rare burst of heroism but a consistent, daily choice to keep showing up.
